Impact Spotlight – Jan 2025

As CSNU, we hold ourselves accountable to our funders, our partners and the vulnerable people and communities we serve.

One of the ways we do this is to publish a monthly Impact Spotlight Report.

Of course, we want to make long-lasting impact but we know this is achieved by the work we do everyday.

Our Approach

CSNU champions a brighter future for vulnerable people in PNG.

Providing easily accessible screening and treatment services for vision, hearing and mobility. Improving access to care through innovative programs and partnerships that ensure sustainability.

Bravely standing tall to advocate both within communities and to government to affect positive change to reduce the stigma of living with a disability.

Transforming Lives.

Learn about Anna’s inspiring story. Anna is a hearing-impaired woman living in Vanimo in West Sepik. Deaf since the age of 5, Anna has experienced prejudice, discrimination and daily risks of violence. As a disabled woman living in remote village in PNG, Anna is at risk of both Gender Related Violence and Sorcery Accused Related Violence. With the support of her older sister and programs from CSNU and UNDP, Anna is an advocate for her community with big dreams for her future.

2024 Year in Review

As CSNU, we hold ourselves accountable to our funders, our partners and the vulnerable people and communities we serve. One of the ways we do this is to publish an Impact Snapshot of the impact we made the previous month. Of course, we want to make long-lasting impact but we know this is achieved by the work we do everyday.
