Frequently Asked Questions
Is CSNU the same as Callan Services?
Yes, CSNU has rebranded from Callan Services. We are still the same organisation with the same values.
What is the difference between the Callan IERCs and CSNU?
The Callan IERCs are funded by the Department of Education and provide services for school children. CSNU has separate funding and we deliver services to the wider community, including children via clinics and outreach. We complement each other and are strategic partners but are different organisations.
How can I access CSNU services?
We currently deliver services across many provinces and services vary in each location. Please contact us at [email protected] to find out about specific locations.
How can my organisation partner with CSNU?
CSNU believes that collaboration and partnership will yield the most change for the people we serve. We are always looking for new partners and we welcome partners from other NGOs, the private or public sector. Please contact us to arrange a discussion.
How do I book training for my organisation?
To enquire about CSNU training, please go to our training page.
Do I have to pay for hearing aids, glasses or mobility devices?
CSNU has a scaled pricing structure to ensure equity. We do generally charge for assistive devices to enable us to continue to purchase more. We are committed to ensuring that people who need devices are able to afford them. Please contact us for more specific information.
